Once we find adequate funding, we will assertively pursue the following goals:
1. Help Christians expand their biblical relationships within Christian friendships, families, and marriages. These relationships are most powerful to build significant Christlikeness, offer superior worship, and prepare for heaven. And these relationships are the building blocks of the local church and indispensable to its success.
2. Expose pastors and especially seminary students to a deeper model of biblical community so that a new way of doing church will take root. 3. Disciple in understanding and implementing the 65 Togethers of Scripture in (a) Christian friendships, (b) Christian families, (c) Christian marriages, (d) leadership groups in churches and parachurch organizations, and (e) groups of believers in secular businesses owned by Christians with unbelieving employees. 4. Train Christian small group leaders an empowering model that builds strong relationships that obey the 65 Togethers of Scripture. |
METHODS TO ACCOMPLISH GOALS
Goal #1. Help Christians grow their biblical relationships of Christian friendships, families, and marriages. These relationships are most powerful to build significant Christlikeness, offer superior worship, and prepare for heaven. And these relationships are the building blocks of the local church and indispensable to its success.
Our primary approach is our Crucibles for Transformation into Exceptional Christlikeness, a Monday-Wednesday-Friday email curriculum. This requires funding for widespread publicity and advertising.
Goal #2. Expose pastors and especially seminary students to a deeper model of biblical community so that a new way of doing church will take root.
We have a small booklet to request seminary librarians set out for free. It is our hope that those preparing for ministry will see the importance of the Scriptures that define Christian relationships and flesh out the love between believers that Jesus said would be so different from secular relationships as to witness to Himself (John 13:34-35).
We hope to find the funding to suggest ways that churches can be more basically relational and improve Christian culture drastically. Sermons can reorient from the less-biblical individualistic faith to a more-biblical faith in relationships. Genesis 2:18 can be brought back into an understanding of truth, changing the course of Christianity for the better. |
Goal #3. Disciple friendships, families, marriages, leadership groups in churches and parachurch organizations, groups of believers in businesses owned by Christians, and Christian schools on knowing and implementing the 65 Togethers of Scripture.
We have 5 Discipleship Kits that focus on implementing hundreds of Scriptures in 65 Togethers of Scripture that will radically change Christian friendships, Christian families, Christian marriages, Christian organizations, and Christians in non-Christian work settings. This discipleship focuses on obeying the Bible in these types of relationships, and most content is quite different from what has been taught.
Goal #4. Train Christian small group leadership an empowering model that builds strong relationships that obey the 65 Togethers of Scripture.
Our website www.LambsBride.org already has free training in a powerful and unique model of small group and team leadership that can empower the church. Most present models create dependency and passive participation. Our model has a history of 50 years of success far beyond the production of other models. It is the way to disciple Christians to be much more confident and involved.

EXPLANATIONS
Goal #1. Help Christians grow their biblical relationships of Christian friendships, families, and marriages. These relationships are most powerful to build significant Christlikeness, offer superior worship, and prepare for heaven. And these relationships are the building blocks of the local church and indispensable to its success.
Christian researchers (Barna, Dickerson, etc.) have pointed out for quite a few years now that younger Christians are leaving the church and are interested in relationships, not sermons and church programs. Whether or not they return to church, which Goal #2 tries to do something about, we can help them find the deeper biblical relationships they seek.
Goal #2. Expose pastors and especially seminary students to a deeper model of biblical community so that a new way of doing church will take root.
If churches are to draw people to church and keep them there, they need to give up on methods that worked when Christianity was dominant in our society. Instead, they need to promote a level of relationships that are more biblically accurate and authentic.
Researchers at the Barna Group and others have dire predictions for the evangelical church in America. They document that evangelicals now are just 7 out of 100 and that is going to drop to 1 in 25 unless something drastic is done. What is clear is that church as we have been doing it is not going to work and has not worked. Since the culture will be becoming more and more hostile to evangelical Christianity, it will be wise to appear much changed from what outsiders criticize. The mark of Christians will be changed from the kind of love for one another in the church that can easily be no different than secular relationships to an obvious spiritual love powered by loyalty to Jesus Christ and the Scriptures. |
Goal #3. Disciple friendships, families, marriages, leadership groups in churches and parachurch organizations, groups of believers in businesses owned by Christians, and Christian schools on knowing and implementing the 65 Togethers of Scripture.
Almost all discipleship is discipleship in individualistic Christianity even if such discipleship is done in a training or Bible study group. Individualistic Christianity is an oxymoron. We must stop teaching people that walking with Christ is an individual journey. Genesis 2:18 must be brought back into practiced faith. Discipleship must recognize that Christians were designed to be strong only together. God Himself decided that as recorded in His statement in Genesis 2:18 that Adam needed a helper.
Close friendships between Christians have all but been overlooked in the way of discipleship. Jesus sent all of his disciples out in groups of two. He made a promise to be present in a special way when 2 or 3 gathered in his name. Some of the most disastrous sins by Christian leaders today and in Bible times (King David) happened because leaders operated alone and autonomously. God was greatly dishonored because the absolute necessity of close Christian friendships was ignored. Our Friends Together with Jesus Discipleship Kit takes care of this problem. Discipleship of Christian families is generally simple Bible study, not obedience to the many Scriptures detailing how relationships are to be in the kingdom of God. more |
Goal #4. Train Christian small group leadership an empowering model that builds strong relationships that obey the 65 Togethers of Scripture.
