The Family Together with Jesus Discipleship Kit is designed to help family members love one another excellently through obedience to many biblical commands and instructions. They will bring the power of Jesus' presence into their family life and also in their neighborhood. (“For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20) It will deepen relationships in the family as well as bring forth superior spiritual growth and powerful service for the glory of God.
65 Family Together with Jesus study cards, one card for each Together, help family members incorporate each of the Togethers into their relationships with one another. They will then be able to do what God wants for them and experience the best kind of family - with Him.
Here is an example from the card for Die for One Another, one of the Togethers of Battle. Die for One Another is defined as: "Lay down your life for others in your family. Risk reputation, financial security and anything necessary to help each other or another Christian." Item #1: Denying your own wants and “dying to self” is needed often in a family. Denying your own needs is made possible by trusting God to meet your needs. Examine each other’s ability to let God watch out for your good when you risk for Him and watch out for the needs of family members.
This is not quick and easy. Discipleship should never be so. There are 65 cards with multiple items on each card that require discussion and action. It will take many months to complete the full discipleship, but even if only partially completed your family will have been fine tuned in some aspects of our great faith. Jesus will be pleased and glorified with your growing obedience to biblical commands and instructions for your family relationships.
